Gordana Dragovic is a Professor of Medicine at the Department of Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, Serbia. She is also a Head of the Pharmacokinetic Unit of the antiretroviral drugs. Working with Prof. David Back, University of Liverpool, she has completed her PhD thesis at the University of Belgrade, Serbia on pharmacokinetics and pharmacogenetics of different antiretroviral drugs and interindividual variability in treatment response. Over the twenty years working in the HIV field, the main research interests of Professor Dragovic are focused mainly on pharmacokinetics and pharmacogenomics of antiretrovirals, drug-drug interactions and treatment outcome. She expanded her work on the pathogenesis of different metabolic co-morbidities and preterm aging in people living with HIV. Recently she is also actively involved in COVID-19 infection field. Professor Gordana Dragovic Lukic has published a number of scientific papers listed in PubMed. She has also made over 100 conference presentations and is author of several chapters on Textbooks of Pharmacology. She has been Chair or member of the organizing committee or the program committee of National and European workshops and conference on HIV. In 2011, she was a co-chair of the 13th European AIDS Conference/EACS. Professor Dragovic Lukic is actively collaborating with governmental and non-governmental organizations working in HIV/AIDS field.
